Savvy celebrates its 7th BirthdayPosted on Jan 06 in News & Blog, Press Releases, Recent News by Dave
January 2011 marks Savvy’s 7th year in business. From the early days when Savvy’s founder, David Adams, worked as a freelance marketer after leaving behind a successful agency career, to the present day where The Savvy Partnership is recognised as one of the region’s leading strategic marketing communications agencies.
Over the last seven years Savvy has kept true to its original ethos as David comments “With Savvy I was never interested in empire building, instead Savvy was set up simply as a vehicle to enable me to work with people I liked and get involved in interesting and challenging projects. Manchester is probably the best place in the UK to do this and over the years we’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of exciting brands and projects – keeping things fresh and incredibly interesting for myself and the team.”
David’s business partner, Helen Freeborough says “Savvy has enjoyed its best start to any year to date with new account wins in December and January. Although trading conditions are obviously still very difficult for businesses in the region, many who cut back on their marketing activity at the beginning of the recession are now realising they still have products and services to sell and this has let to a steady increase in enquiries for outsourced marketing support.”
